Itinerary
- Pickup anywhere in Berat at 09:00.
- Bogova Waterfall: a walk through the park to the falls. Swim in the pools at the foot of the waterfall if you like; the water is icy cold even in summer.
- Flag Viewpoint: the first view down into Osumi Canyon, where the Osum river has cut deep into the rock.
- Bride's Hole Viewpoint: a second view over the canyon from a different angle.
- Picnic lunch by the canyon.
- Inside the canyon (summer only): when the water is low, we walk down and explore the canyon floor.
- Back in Berat in the late afternoon.

Is the walk to the waterfall hard?
No. It is a short walk along a path. Near the falls the rocks are wet, so wear shoes with grip.
Can I swim?
Yes, at Bogova Waterfall. The water is very cold, so most people swim for a few minutes.
When is the best season?
Summer. The canyon walk only runs in summer, when the river is low. In other seasons you see the canyon from the viewpoints.
